• What is WPC and how it is made?

WPC board stands for WOOD POLYMER COMPOSITE BOARD. It is made from wood powder, polymers such as PVC and other chemicals and additives. It is made using extrusion technology on a complete automatic machine so there is no variation in size and thickness. It is widely used in all furniture applications as well as doors.

• How WPC board is better than plywood and what are its characteristics?

Now a days 8 out of 10 households face problem of termite and moisture. Due to this furniture made with precious veneer and laminates gets spoilt in some years. Additionally, there is also a risk of fire as wood is not flame-retardant. Main feature of WPC is that it is 100% waterproof, 100% termite proof and 100% fire retardant making it the best choice for all your furniture needs.

• Can we use WPC in sunlight? How long it will survive in sunlight?

Absolutely yes, WPC can be used to make structure in sunlight, it does not get spoiled in sunlight. Just paint or polish it in certain time intervals and it will remain new and strong for years. You can use weather coat paint or PU polish on WPC. In fact, in our WPC formulation we add special UV curing pigments that give an additional protection from sunlight resulting in zero color-fading.

• Can we insert nail in WPC with hammer or screw is the only option?

Yes, we can insert nails in WPC board. All types of screws and nails can be easily inserted with the help of conventional carpentry tools. You can in fact screw and unscrew at the same position for more than 10 times, it does not get loose.

• Can we paint or polish on WPC board?

You can paint or polish WPC board with any color of your choice. Before painting or polishing sand, it with sand paper and then clean it with cloth. Apply PUTTY on the edges of the WPC board and let it dry to make it smooth. After drying start painting starting from the edges to surface.

• Can we paste acrylic sheet on WPC board and how?

Yes, you can paste acrylic sheet on WPC board. First of all, sand WPC surface with sanding paper and clean properly with cloth and then apply solvent on its surface and then paste acrylic sheet on it and keep pressed for min 1 hour.
